Accessibility Statement
Driveway Tires is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards so that all of our customers across the Phoenix metro can reach us, book service, and get the information they need.
Our standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological disabilities.
What we’ve done
- Keyboard navigation — every interactive element (links, buttons, menus, forms) can be reached and operated with a keyboard, and a clearly visible focus indicator shows where you are on the page.
- Skip to content — a “Skip to main content” link lets keyboard and screen reader users bypass repeated navigation.
- Text alternatives — images convey meaning through descriptive alternative (alt) text, and icon-only buttons include accessible labels.
- Semantic structure — pages use proper headings and landmark regions (header, navigation, main, footer) so assistive technology can navigate them.
- Readable color and contrast — we work to maintain sufficient color contrast between text and its background.
- Reduced motion — if your device is set to reduce motion, on-page animations are minimized automatically.
Ongoing effort
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We regularly review our website and work to resolve any issues. Because we use third‑party tools (such as our live chat widget and maps), some content may be partially outside our direct control, but we hold our own pages to the WCAG 2.1 AA standard.
